How to order the SKPOS service?

SKPOS service can be ordered by filling in the registration form available at the website  webovej stránke https://skpos.gku.sk. After having been processed by the administrator and after verification process you will be sent an electronic invoice and after its settlement your registration will be activated. Where to find and how to order geodetic control points, i.e. the points of the National Leveling, National Spatial, National Gravimetric or National Trigonometric Networks?

Graphic and text information on geodetic control points can be found in the map layers ŠPS, ŠNS, ŠGS and ŠTS within MAPKA application. On ordering the selected points please follow the instructions available here.

How to proceed in reporting the control point damage?

It is legally required to report the discovered damage of the geodetic control point, i.e. the point of the National Leveling, National Spatial, National Gravimetric or National Trigonometric Networks to the administrator, i.e. Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava, Geodetic Control Department. It is sufficient to send the report by e-mail at the following address gkuosgz(at)skgeodesy.sk. In the text message it is necessary to give especially the lettering of the point localization: cadastral district, municipality, street, lot number, name and address of the notifier and description of the defect discovered. Sending the photo documentation of the point damage is welcome.

How to proceed if I need to cancel a geodetic control point?

In construction or other work on buildings or land it may be needed to remove the existing geodetic control points or their protective devices. As the point is legally protected, we prefer its preservation and usability for further observation. In case this cannot be done, it is necessary to communicate this to the administrator, i.e. Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava, Geodetic Control Department via a letter of notification. It is sufficient to send the letter of notification by e-mail to gkuosgz(at)skgeodesy.sk. In the text message it is necessary to give especially the lettering of the point localization: cadastral district, municipality, street, lot number, name and address of the notifier and reason for cancelling the point.

How to proceed in reconstructing or thermal insulation of buildings on which the geodetic control point is located?

In construction work on the buildings on which the geodetic control point is located it is necessary to communicate this information to the administrator of geodetic control, i.e. Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava, Geodetic Control Department. As the point is legally protected, we prefer its preservation and usability for further observation, e.g. by cut of insulation material when carrying out the thermal insulation. In case it is impossible to do so it is necessary to send the letter of notification. In both cases it is sufficient to send the notification by e-mail to gkuosgz(at)skgeodesy.sk. In the text message it is necessary to give especially the lettering of the point localization: cadastral district, municipality, street, lot number, name and address of the notifier and reason for point cancelling or the notification of the construction work. Do not move the point in any case.

How to proceed when an error in the published data on geodetic control points or incorrect representation are discovered on the geoportal?

Mistakes and errors discovered in the published data on geodetic control points, i.e. points of the National Leveling, National Spatial, National Gravimetric or National Trigonometric Networks or their incorrect representation on the geoportal is necessary to communicate to the administrator of geodetic control, i.e. Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava, Geodetic Control Department using the „Requests and notifications“ function available in MAPKA applicaion in the Geodetic Control theme after identifying a geodetic point with an error.
