Geographical Names
Data from the Database of Standardized Geographical Names from the territory of the Slovak Republic, updated on 20th July 2023. Files contain ZBGIS feature classes: Geografický názov (Historický názov, Variantný názov), Geografický názov - Katastrálne územie, Geografický názov - Časť obce, Geografický názov - Obec, Geografický názov - Okres, Geografický názov - Kraj, Geografický názov - Slovenská republika and table Geografický názov - Obec (počet obyvateľov), which contains the population numbers of municipalities since 2007 taken from the database of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic.

Product ZBGIS® Raster in scales 1:5 000, 1:10 000, 1:25 000 a 1:50 000 is possible download via the MAPKA application (up to 20 map sheets at a one time), the download procedure is desribed in the Help. ZBGIS® Raster is provided free of charge and shall be subject to the Terms and conditions for the provision and use. ZBGIS rasters are in the S-JTSK[JTSK03] coordinate system (code EPSG:8353).

The ZBGIS® data in the sample is divided according to its affiliation into categories according to the ZBGIS® Feature Catalogue (KTO ZBGIS®). Data is provided in ESRI GDB or ESRI Shapefile (SHP) formats. Information on ZBGIS® data provision is provided here.
ZBGIS data can be converted to GeoPackage format or CAD formats DXF and DGN using the Conversion Service.
